Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in hospital settings required in one of the following areas: GI Lab, OPTC
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or health care related field required
Valid California Registered Nurse license
Current license with Board of Registered Nursing
Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS)
About the Job:
Provides strategic leadership and operational management for the following; Outpatient Treatment Center, and Gastrointestinal Laboratory
Maintains standards for professional practice and regulatory compliance and is responsible for the overall planning, budgeting, staffing, performance, and operation
Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services while maintaining compliance with pertinent laws and regulations.
Assures the hiring of competent staff, provides for proper orientation, relevant continuing education, and competency validation of staff, setting clear performance expectations and customer service standards
Provides leadership in process improvement.
Implements and maintains the quality management system.
Establishes and assures maintenance of quality and efficiency standards
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates and assists in strategic and operational planning for areas of responsibility as detailed above.
Participates in the development and implementation of long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the organization around service lines.
Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services while maintaining compliance with pertinent laws and regulations.
Assures the hiring of competent staff, provides for proper orientation, relevant continuing education, and competency validation of staff, setting clear performance expectations and customer service standards.
Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective safety program in the departments.
Assures records are maintained and day-to-day operations conform to all requirements of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
